ABOUT C2 COSMETICS

Hi beautiful,

My name is Crystal and I am the founder and owner of C2 Cosmetics. I began the creative journey to launch CSquared (C2) Cosmetics in March 2022.

My thought process behind starting C2 Cosmetics was because of my love for colors.  I’ve always wanted to start a business that was fun to me and didn’t seem like I was working. I wanted to create something I would genuinely enjoy and make others happy.  During my brainstorming, I had several ideas of different businesses to possibly consider ranging from developing a liquor brand (which I still might do), jewelry design, writing a book, IT consulting, and etc.  However, I kept coming back to colors and lipstick.  

 

Dating back to childhood I would watch my Grandmother’s put on makeup but mostly lipstick.  It would be that little smudge on the bottom lip and then they would purse their two lips together to get the lipstick even across. Maybe even adding a little more to blend.  As a teenager, I started to experiment with makeup but would only wear eyeliner and lipstick. I had a deep LOVE for reds, especially Wet ‘n Wild. 

 

In 2022, I was riding out to handle some errands and the lipstick/lipgloss idea just came to me.  I love the quote that “The right shade of lipstick will change your whole life”.  I feel that as long as I have a lipstick or lipgloss on my whole mood changes and it adds that finishing touch to pull whatever I’m wearing together.  It’s the icing on the lips.

It is my vision to one day be the go to lipstick/lipgloss brand for the everyday woman. As our colors easily match with any skin shade/complexion. Leaving women of all shades, feeling beautiful and thought of.
